The objects begin to distort in an almost imperceptible way; a connection to artifacts that can arise in a digital world. The installation invites viewers to question their own perception and to lose themselves in the sounds and impressions.

The set looks pretty normal at first glance: A living room with various interior. A guitar stands in the corner and an old tube radio plays classical guitar music.

Visitors of the exhibition are encouraged to stay longer in the cozy corner and the seating.

Projection mapping using a pico projector hidden in the set allows the guitar to glitch occasionally from time to time. The music of the radio glitches synchronously.
An effect that is at first only subconsciously perceived by the viewers.

I used Blender for the projection correction, AfterEffects for the glitch artifacts of the guitar and Logic for the sound effects. The warm orange-yellow lamp with its shadows helped a lot to create the illusion of the real guitar.

The song I used:
What are you doing for the rest of your life
